Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a therapy aimed at rebalancing the circulation and distribution of the flow of vital energy in living beings, whose alteration is considered the main cause of every disease. The treatment consists in the insertion of very fine needles into the body at points along the course of the meridians, the invisible channels where the energy flows
An ancient traditional Chinese medicine, certainly born before the birth of Jesus Christ, that represents one of the main demonstrations of how biochemical (e.g. on neurotransmitters, immune system, electrolytes) and therapeutics (e.g. analgesia) effects can be obtained through physical stimulations and not with medicinal products. At first, the western interpretation of its mechanism of action was based mainly on the theory of the nervous reflex (the term reflexology is also used), now the most reliable hypothesis is the regulatory action of the electromagnetism of body.

There is also a connection between the two medicines launched by the Energetics of Living Systems, which starting from conceptions and using purely physical logical mathematical methods, has decoded the classical Chinese texts on whose theory acupuncture is based, placing modern acquisitions in their laws western biomolecular. The holistic vision of the man typical of Traditional Chinese Medicine, of which the Acupuncture is a part, is part of the current scientifically proven and accepted Western concept of the so-called PNEI system (PsicoNeuroEndocrinoImmunitario). The peculiar regulatory activity, the undoubted and recognized clinical results, the desire to approach without distorting the methodology of the evident based medicine and the vast possibility of integration with the other oriental and western medicines, make the Acupuncture of fascinating and extreme topicality. The dialogue between East and West can develop a concrete global growth available to modern doctors with mentality, heart and suitable instruments for an effective socio-sanitary action both in the preventive and curative fields. Acupuncture, being an optimization and regulation technique, has a broad field of intervention for maintaining and restoring health.
