An ancient traditional Chinese medicine, certainly born before the birth of Jesus Christ, that represents one of the main demonstrations of how biochemical (e.g. on neurotransmitters, immune system, electrolytes) and therapeutics (e.g. analgesia) effects can be obtained through physical stimulations and not with medicinal products. At first, the western interpretation of its mechanism of action was based mainly on the theory of the nervous reflex (the term reflexology is also used), now the most reliable hypothesis is the regulatory action of the electromagnetism of body.
There is also a connection between the two medicines launched by the Energetics of Living Systems, which starting from conceptions and using purely physical logical mathematical methods, has decoded the classical Chinese texts on whose theory acupuncture is based, placing modern acquisitions in their laws western biomolecular.
